After a quick tour of city via our tour motorcoach, we went to the Plaza de Espana and then by carriage ride thru the nearby park. All through this trip, the orange trees have been in bloom, so the wonderful fragrance has enhanced everywhere we’ve been (and covered up the garlic exuding from our dinner the night before, hopefully).

After walking through the cathedral (where Chris C.’s remains are held after he was moved several times thru the Americas, including Cuba), I set out for a walk thru the warren of streets to get to the Metropol parasol, the largest wooden structure in world on the bright and beautiful day.

Since over the last few days, we had been tutored on the toro culture and the importance of bullfighting in Seville, one of my new friends and I made the quick decision to go see one. The pageantry was there, we had front row seats, and the dance between the toreador and bull was fascinating.
