As you may be starting or in the middle of Thursday, April 11th, I’m finishing this wonderful amazing day. All of my travel mates sang HappyBirthday when I got on the bus this morning and I was given some gifts, then we traveled to the site outside of Xi’an to view what was created and buried over 2000 years ago. We then went to a lunch where the emperor also sang Happy Birthday to me and after crowning me gave me a huge birthday cake Which I of of course shared with the rest of the crew. By this time it was a beautiful day and sunny, and we wandered through the Muslim Quarter of the old part of the city Innumerable good wishes and “many mores” throughout day, finishing up with another birthday cake delivered with a card signed by the hotel staff and delicious dinner. 64 will be hard to top. My favorite sign today was “2019 Happy every day”.
