From the bullfight

Kind of like seeing the opera in Santa Fe, I didn’t know this was on my bucket list. But there is a statue of Carmen (the hussy) near the bull ring.


We ate that night back at the Alfonso XIII hotel which was very spectacular. It was walking distance from the bullring and across the street from the tobacco factory (now a government building) where Carmen worked

This last picture was the chandelier in my room!, so you can imagine the fixtures throughout the rest of this hotel.
The next morning we drove to Cordoba to see the giant mosque converted to church, and then took the high speed train to Madrid
