No trick all treat on drive to Squamish, home of my personal roots. The two places I gave my name (bank and hotel), I was asked if I was related to another Hurren – never happened in Texas! There were waterfalls all along the way and beautiful views of the Howe Sound. My hotel sits just a little north of the town of Squamish and after I checked in, I drove all around the area. This is the view from my room.
Took a long walk this morning up the road from the hotel. Weather cleared a bit so I will be doing the sea to sky gondola later today. It’s the last day it’s open for the next month or so, and it’s for locals and local merchants, so it is great day to go! And at a reduced rate. Here are some pictures from the walk.
